Piccolo Guitar with Reclaimed Wood
This guitar is about the size of a baritone ukulele. It measures 10 1/8″ across the lower bout, is 3 1/4″ deep at the tail and 2 3/4″ deep at the heel. The scale is 17 1/8.” It is tuned from B to B’, identical to placing a capo at the 7th fret of a standard guitar.
The back and sides are maple from floor boards, the top is from a Douglas fir ceiling joist. The neck, bindings, and lines between the maple pieces are all black walnut.
