This 17″ archtop guitar closely follows the design on my very successful L7 style, except for some obvious differences like the cutaway, pickup and ebony tailpiece. The guitar uses master grade Sitka spruce for the soundboard and master grade red maple for the back and sides. The bindings are purpleheart.  The pickup is a custom Kent Armstrong humbucker that mounts on the end of the neck extension and there is a thumbwheel volume control in the treble f-hole. The five-piece neck is made of maple and walnut. High gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
