Cowboy Themed Baritone Ukulele

Cowboy Themed Baritone Ukulele

This instrument was built for a customer who wanted to recall his first ukulele in the early 1960’s, which had painted-on cowboy scenes.  All of the inlays in this instrument were cut from fossilized woolly mammoth ivory. The soundboard is Western Red Cedar. The back and sides are curly Black Walnut. The 3 piece neck is mahogany with a rosewood center strip. The fretboard and bridge are ebony and the bindings are birdseye maple. A walnut burl peghead veneer and bone nut and saddle complete the instrument.
